Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - West Sumatra Provincial Government provides a special room for media crews who are covering 2018 National Press Day (HPN) in the hall next to the mosque of local governor's office.
"We provide 30 units of computers connected to Internet network to support coverage of 2018 HPN by journalists," Head of Public Relations Bureau Secretariat of West Sumatra Province, Jasman stated in Padang, Wednesday.
He mentioned computer facilities and internet networks provided free of charge during coverage of HPN series on February 1 to 9, 2018.
In a room called media center the journalists can process information to be news from morning to night.
Jasman added as the host of HPN, West Sumatra hopes that the potential of region, especially tourism can be explored and informed by thousands of journalists who come through their respective media.
Good information will be a good promotion for tourism sector and it is expected to become one West Sumatra economy locomotives.
Meanwhile, Chairman of West Sumatra PWI Heranof mention HPN event in West Sumatra will automatically become a promotional event of potential areas that are expected to be able to move economy of society. (cha)
