Arosuka, (Antara Sumbar) - The Government of Solok District, West Sumatra built tree houses and outbound facility in Twin Lakes Tourism Object and Alahan Panjang convention hall area, Lembah Gumanti Sub-district.
"It is part of the renovation and improvement of the Twin Lakes Tourism Object and the convention hall area planned for completion by the end of November 2017," Yandra, head of the local Tourism Office stated in Arosuka on Thursday.
He explained that the tree houses built in pine trees are made in series, and are linked from one tree to another, as well as outbound and flying fox games.
In addition there is the addition of outdoor art performances besides to the convention hall of Alahan Panjang.
"The tree house is almost finished, but it can not be repaired yet because it is still necessary to ensure the safety standard," he said.
In addition to tree houses, improvements are also made to the villa in Alahan Panjang convention hall area. Improvements made ranging from repainting, the addition of interior room, and cleaning of the area around the villa.
"There are many events that can be held in the area, but because of the shortage of hotels and places to stay so it can not be realized.
For that, we immediately fix the villa in the twin lakes pier in order to accommodate tourists who come to Solok," he said.
It is expected that in 2018, the villa area can be exploited properly by tourists, let alone the interior of large villas boegenvile part is good as in star hotels.
"Hopefully, it can increase visitors and the passion of attractions in Solok," he said.
Twin lake jetty has also been completed, but there is no adequate toilets around the area of the convention hall to be an obstacle for tourists who come.
In the future, the Department of Tourism plans to build the completeness of a playground, a vast flower garden with colorful flowers around the villa.
Also a water playground on the lake as well as access roads that will connect the Twin Lakes tourism area with Ummy Mosque which is located nearby. (cha)
