"The first beauty is a waterfall as high as 70 meters, who comes will be amazed to see it," said the manager of the tourist attraction, Resma in Painan, Monday.
Furthermore, in the late afternoon, when the weather is sunny at the location, a rainbow is also formed due to the refracting of sunlight against the waterfall droplets.

"Especially for suspension bridge and tree house were built by the West Sumatra Forestry Service this year," he said.
The Mayor of Nagari Pelangai Gadang, Toni Afrizal, said that hundreds of tourists immediately "invaded" the Air Terjun Pelangai Waterfall tourist attraction since it was opened last week.
"The arrival of tourists is beyond our expectations, and we hope that the management will be more serious so that the existence of tourist objects is maintained," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Production Forest Management Unit (KPHP) of Pesisir Selatan, Madrianto, accompanied by the Head of the Planning and Forest Utilization Section, Hendrio Fadly, said that the West Sumatra Forest Service was involved in developing the Pelangai Waterfall tourist attraction because the location is in a forest area.

He said it was done to provide certainty in management, so that people who live on the edge of the forest area are prosperous by taking advantage of existing products and services.
"Our goal is to encourage tourism activities in Pelangai Gadang not only to increase the original income of the village through fees, but also to encourage the overall economic growth of the community," he said.
Specifically for the construction of a suspension bridge and tree house, the West Sumatra Forest Service has allocated a budget of Rp.199.1 million which comes from the 2020 Regional Incentive Fund (DID).
