Lubuk Basung (ANTARA) - The Participants of Tour de Singkarang (TdS) on the stage V from Payakumbuh to the morning Ambun, Agam District, W Sumatera, will go through two traditional markets.
Acting head of the Youth and Sports tourism Office of Agam, Yosefriawan at Lubukbasung, on Sunday, said two markets are in Pasar Usang, Lubukbasung Sub-district and Pasar Rabaa, Tanjungraya District.
"These two markets are located on the provincial road side connecting Lubukbasung to the city of Bukittinggi," he said.
He said that the traditional market will be crowded with people to buy daily necessities.
To overcome the congestion, he will coordinate with the police of Agam, and the local transportation office.
"Members of security will be deployed in that market," he said.
In addition to the market day, the V-stage was also passed through landslides prone areas and a fallen tree in Kelok 44.
He has coordinated with the related agencies to clean the tree materials and blocked drainage.
"Kelok 44 is prone to landslides and fallen trees when the rainfall is high accompanied by strong winds," he said.
Agam Regency will show the traditional arts to entertain the race and invited guests.
