Bukittinggi (ANTARA) - Mayor of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra M Ramlan Nurmatias announced the first case of residents of the area positively infected the corona virus on Thursday.
Corona positive patient is woman. Her husband has a history of traveling to Malaysia for a grand tabligh event.
The results of the labor swap examination from Unand showed his wife is positive corona.
"We have contacted the patient's family and are willing to be picked up for isolation. There are four persons in her family," he said in Bukittinggi, Thursday.
The government is currently tracing patient contact history with other residents.
"This positive patient has a shop. We are handling patient contact history," he said.
While one patient who was monitored died at Bukittinggi Hospital from Solok Selatan Regency on Wednesday (3/25) night.
For patients who died, Ramlan said the laboratory results were not yet known whether positive or negative corona.
