Painan (ANTARA) - The Bayang Sani waterfall tourism object located in Koto Baru Nagari, Bayang Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency, W Sumatra will be equipped with a swimming pool in an effort to attract tourists.
"The swimming pool will complement the beautiful panorama of Bayang Sani," said the Regent of Pesisir Selatan, Hendrajoni in Painan on Sunday.
At the moment, he added, Bayang Sani remains a mainstay for tourists, although some attractions such as the Mandeh Integrated Marine Tourism Zone and the Carocok Painan Beach are developing rapidly.
"The construction of a swimming pool is an effort to make Bayang Sani able to keep up with developing tourism objects," he said.
According to him the existence of a swimming pool will give travelers the freedom to enjoy the fresh hilly water starting from swimming or just wet.
"Innovation is needed in tourist attractions so that tourists do not feel bored, besides that innovation will also make tourism more popular," he added.
Regarding the swimming pool development plan, he has ordered the nagari apparatus and sub-districts to immediately take care of land acquisition.
"The faster the process of land acquisition is certainly getting better, because after all the tourist visits that are booming will have an effect on improving the economy of the local community," he said.
The Bayang Sani Waterfall is approximately 60 kilometers from the City of Padang and 20 kilometers from Painan which is the local capital city of the district, from the road across the Sumatran riders will first pass through Bayang Sani afterwards the attraction of the Jembatan Akar. *
