Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Revenue Office of South Pesisir District, West Sumatera Province has recorded the retribution of ticket fee in two tourist objects, namely Carocok Beach, Painan and Integrated Marine Tourism Area (KWBT) of Mandeh until D+5 Lebaran 2018 which reached Rp402.7 million.

"The total number of tickets sold in two tourist objects reached 80,545 sheets with the price per share of Rp5 thousand, so if the total then the retribution on the two tourism objects reached Rp402.7 million," Head of Local Revenue Office Dasrianto Putra stated here on Friday.

He said local revenue target in the tourism sector of Rp2.5 billion in 2018. While before Lebaran 2018, retribution of tourist attraction has reached around Rp 300 million.

"So, the total revenue of the region`s tourism sector has been collected in the range of Rp700 million," he added.

Putra predicted the end of Lebaran holiday 2018 retribution in both tourist attractions will continue to increase because until now it still crowded with tourists.

In addition, there are also some tourist areas that are managed by the public but the money from the sale of tickets is divided between the community and the district government.

The amount of division is 10 percent for the government and 90 percent for the manager.

Several tourist objects that apply similar things are Muaro Bantiang Tourism Object, Karam Island, Tan Sridano Beach, Root Bridge and Sago Beach.

Office deploys the monitoring team in every tourist attraction, they must report the amount of retribution every day to maximize retribution charges.

"The target of PAD tourism sector this year is much increased compared to the previous year which only Rp1.5 billion," he explained.

Based on the records of the local Revenue Service at Lebaran 2017, the levies at the Carocok Beach of Painan and KWBT Mandeh attractions reached Rp466 million from the sale of 93,300 tickets. (*)
