300 Thousand Tourists Visit South Pesisir During Lebaran: Regent

Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Regent of South Pesisir District, West Sumatra, Hendrajoni estimates that there are 300 thousand tourists who visit a number of tourist attractions in the area until D+6 Lebaran 2018.

"It includes Carocok Beach Painan and the Integrated Maritime Tourism Area (KWBT) of Mandeh which the entrance fee sold 80,545 tickets," he noted here on Thursday.

Meanwhile, other attractions do not apply admission ticket so that not all tourists who visit the attractions can be counted.

As in Carocok Beach Painan, there are tourists who only use the parking lot, Carocok Beach logo to the park to just take pictures and then go to other attractions.

Similarly, those who visit Mandeh, among which there are passing sea routes from Padang and also from other locations so it is not recorded as a whole.

Besides, there are other tourist attractions that are visited by many tourists such as Root Bridge, Bayang Sani, Sago Beach, Langkisau Peak, White Sand Kambang, Sambungo Silaut Beach, Batangin Batang Kapas River, Tan Sridano Beach, Sumedang Beach and others.

He said he was satisfied with the visit of tourists on this year's Lebaran because the situation shows that South Pesisir is getting known and transformed as a favorite tourist destination in West Sumatra.

It is estimated that the number of visitors will still increase because all attractions in South Pesisir will remain crowded until Sunday (June 24). (cha)
