
Pasaman Has Started Pramana Hospital Construction To Facilitate Community Health Service

Lubuk Sikaping (Antara Sumbar) - The Government of Pasaman District, West Sumatra, has started the construction of pratama hospital in Padang Gelugur Sub-district to facilitate health services for people living in remote areas.
Regent of Pasaman, Yusuf Lubis in Lubuk Sikaping, Friday (Sept 8) said the construction of pratama hospital to facilitate the people in the northern part of Padang Gelugur, South Rao, Rao, North Rao, Mapattunggul and South Mapattulul in getting health service quickly.
During this time, people in six sub-districts spent more than one to two hours to get to Regional General Hospital in Lubuk Sikaping.
"By the existence of hospitals in Padang Gelugur later, the community no longer need to go to Lubuk Sikaping especially in an emergency," he said.
Therefore, he hopes with the increase of health facilities, it must also be supported by human resources quality medical personnel so that the impact is felt by community.
Head of Health Office of Pasaman, Amdarisman said the budget for construction of Primary Hospital in Muara Bangun Nagari Sitombol, Padang Gelugur Sub-district is sourced from Special Allocation Fund (DAK) of Ministry of Health of 2017 and it reached Rp33 billion.
The construction of Pratama Hospital building is done by PT Spectratama Komala.
"For the construction of the building, it costs Rp14 billion and the procurement of medical equipment and supporting hospitals amounted to Rp19 billion," he said.
According to him, pratama hospital is a public hospital that has facilities and basic health care capabilities that do not distinguish treatment class.
In its service in accordance with Regulation of Minister of Health has emergency services for 24 hours, outpatient services, and hospitalization.
Meanwhile, one of the residents of Rao, Febriani welcomed with the start of the construction of Pratama Hospital.
"If Pratama Hospital is completed, it will provide great benefits to community, and people do not need to get medical service to Lubuk Sikaping General Hospital especially for people in other sub-districts whose access is quite difficult and far," she said.
She said so far for the people who exist in some sub-districts in the area is quite far and takes a long time to go to hospitals Lubuk Sikaping as in Mapattunggul and South Mapattunggul.
"Usually they will take about two hours to go to Lubuk Sikaping Hospital, but now it will be closer even just about an hour," she said. (cha)
