Simpang Empat (ANTARA) -  Pantai Sasak Ranah Pasisia , located in Pasaman Barat Regency, W Sumatra Province, provides a variety of interesting attractions to visitors who come there in the form of releasing turtles, thousand tree objects, equatorial parks, Muaro Sasak parks, Suak Bancah Galinggang, Pantai Indah Maligi and Padang Jaya mangrove forests.

A total of 1,850 tourists visited Pantai Sasak Ranah Pasisia, Pasaman Barat Regency, W Sumatra during Christmas and new year holidays 2019.

"Tourist arrivals during this holiday are quite crowded and visitors have reached 1,850 people since the start of the holiday season," said Sasak Ranah Pasisia Pasaman Barat Subdistrict Chief, Nur Faziah Zein at Simpang Empat, on December 30.

Tourists who come to visit Pantai Sasak  on school holidays and religious holidays are dominated by the W Pasaman community as much as 65 percent and 35 percent from outside W Pasaman.

"Foreign tourists who come to visit from the cities of Padang Panjang, Payakumbuh, Pariaman, Solok, Padang, Pasaman and Agam," he said.

Tourists are also busy visiting cultural tourism such as Gandang Lasuang and Tambua Tasa.

"They also enjoy culinary variety such as sabo curry, roested pacak, randang lokan, keram soup, fried oysters, lapek koci, rakik maco, kambang loyang and katupek sampadeh," he explained.

He predicts a visit to Pantai Sasak  will be even busier during the new year's holidays later.

"We hope that visitors can jointly maintain security and cleanliness at tourist sites," he said.
