Jakarta (ANTARA) - After almost three months undergoing independent quarantine period, some people want to immediately take a vacation when entering a new normal era.
What tourism are most sought after by travelers?
HIS Travel Indonesia predicts that natural tourism will be the people's first choice for a vacation. After experiencing surfeit at home, many people want to take a walk to enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty.
"Besides that, vacation in nature place can also provide flexibility to maintain physical distance with other tourists," GM HIS Travel Indonesia Business Strategy Management, Duma Asianna, said through an official statement, Friday.

Duma said that for a new normal, people would prefer tourist attractions not far from home such as mountains or peaks.
"Tourists will choose a vacation in an area not far from their homes. So, people will choose to go to the beach, peaks or mountains by road trip," said Duma.
Road trip is a holiday trip made by driving a car. Using public transportation is still considered too risky for health, so the main choice is by private car.
"Driving in a private car for a vacation with family will be considered more comfortable," said Duma.

Even though road trips are considered to require more energy and time, there are a lot of fun things that can be obtained during road trips such as quality time and can stops anywhere to explore new places to try local cuisine.
"Besides that, people also want to take a vacation with stay at the hotel on weekends because of the longing to enjoy staying at the hotel," said Duma.
