Making use of leisure time to channel hobbies

Padang (ANTARA) - Lake Cimpago, Padang, West Sumatra is always crowded with people who have a hobby of fishing.Residents who fish in the Lake Cimpago area always take the time to explore their hobbies."I am fishing because it is my hobby and I have been doing it for a long time," said a resident who was fishing, Budi. Tuesday (3/26).

Budi admitted that the fish he caught were as varied as he had ever caught, namely Maco, Belato, and many more.

If the weather is bad, he says the catch is not as much as a day usually because the fish run to the sea floor. However, if it is raining at night, there will be a lot of fish caught tomorrow morning.
Residents fishing in the Lake Cimpago area are morning, afternoon and evening. But people are busy fishing in the afternoon because the weather is good for fishing and when people come home from work.

"Here we take turns fishing, some are fishing in the morning, some are during the day and some are fishing in the afternoon, but the crowds are fishing when it's late in the afternoon because the weather is supportive and not too hot people come home from work," he said.

Budi said that fishing is his hobby. He used his free time for fishing and when he finished working in the afternoon, he would continue the hobby.
The catch that he gets is only for his own consumption, but if the catch is more than what he usually gets it will be sold.

Budi added, he once got the most fish for up to 50 if the weather was good.
Not only in the Lake Cimpago area, Budi has been fishing to several places such as the Port, Muaro, Gunung Padang and Teluk Kabung Bungus.
