103 Photographic Works Are Displayed To Enliven HPN

Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - A total of 103 photographic works related to natural beauty, costume and culture which are exist in West Sumatra are displayed in a photo exhibition held by provincial government in order to enliven the 2018 National Press Day (HPN) held in Padang Municipality.

"The work of the sons and daughters of the area are shown and visitors can see them in the multipurpose building of Adityawarman Museum," Head of Tourism Office of West Sumatra, Oni Yulfian stated after opening a photo exhibition in Padang, Tuesday.

He said the exhibition will be held until February 9, 2018. It hopes that the public and guests who come to the province can visit the exhibition.

"Approximately 3,000 people from outside of West Sumatra will come in the framework of HPN. Of course, it also becomes one of the promotion event to the wider community," he said.

Moreover, it is supported by the increasingly widespread publication of tourist destinations in social media, especially by actors and photographers.

For example, the area of South Pesisir Mandeh which was once a hidden place that eventually became famous and area of Thousand of Long Houses in South Solok.
