Padang, (Antara Sumbar) - A number of foreign tourists are interested in and buy agate when visiting the Center for Data and Information of Minangkabau Culture (PDIKM) in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra.
A total of 200 foreign tourists dominated from France docked at Bayur Bay port of Padang, West Sumatra, on Saturday morning by using cruise ships to visit the city of Padang Panjang and Bukittinggi which was facilitated by the travel agency namely Ermi Tours.
Some of the tourists, when arriving at PDIKM looked attractive to the agate traders sold, one of the tourists from France and even bought a kind of agate namely Lumuik Sungai Daerah.
Schmidth, tourist from the City of Mode, at least buy three pieces of agate after the entourage enjoy nature and see the environment and contents in the Rumah Gadang (Minangkabau traditional house) in PDIKM.
He bought the three agates because of his interesting and it is hard to find the same in his country. According to him, wearing agate has its own value, other than a souvenir from Ranah Minang.
In addition to Schmidth, there are some other tourists who buy agate, not only male, but also female tourists.
In general, the group of tourists was welcomed by gelombang dance and a special attraction when visiting PDIKM, not even missed, the momentum is documented.
Furthermore, after tasting snacks, the group of foreign tourists who were transported by six buses did not last long enjoy the cool air in Padang Panjang, the journey continues to the city of Bukittinggi. (cha)
