
Padang Panjang included in top five assessments for W Sumatra's best information disclosure

Padang Panjang (ANTARA) - In the assessment of public information disclosure at the local provincial level, Padang Panjang City, West Sumatra included in top five best nominees.
The West Sumatra Information Commission (KI) team came to Padang Panjang, Thursday, to assess and evaluate public information disclosure by the Main Padang Panjang Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).
Deputy Chairman of KI West Sumatra, Adryan Tuswandi said there were several criteria that were assessed by the team.
Some of them are regarding financial reports, mayor regulations that have been issued regarding PPID, performance reports and RPJMD.
The Commissioner for KI West Sumatra, Arif Jumardi, added that the assessment was carried out aimed to monitor and evaluate the compliance of public agencies with information disclosure and public information services.
Head of the Padang Panjang Communication and Informatics Office, Ampera Salim, conveyed that the local PPID had carried out the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning public information disclosure.
"The Padang Panjang PPID as a whole is ready to be assessed because the conditions in the field are in accordance with the assessment questionnaire from the Public Agency some time ago," he said.
The Main PPID of Padang Panjang, he explained, had carried out the task and function of providing and announcing information broadcast through various media.
The information is announced through bulletin boards, online via the ppidkotapadangpanjang.go.id website and other supporting applications available at the Padang Panjang Communication and Informatics Office .
