Pariaman Nite Fest shows art every Saturday night

Pariaman (ANTARA) - The Government of Pariaman City, W Sumatra launches Pariaman Nite Fest, which displaying a local art studio every Sunday night, which is held at the Rumah Tabuik Subarang.

"This is a place to showcase the artistic creativity of the younger generation," Mayor Pariaman Genius Umar said at the launch of the Pariaman Nite Fest in Pariaman, Saturday night.

He said that his party did not limit the form of creativity to appear at the event if they wanted to perform and enliven it.

"Whether it's dancing or singing, we will support," he said.

He said that the activity was aimed to enliven Pariaman City as a tourist city.

Moreover, he said, the development carried out both the city planning concept "waterfront city" and the construction of facilities on the island in the area aims to support tourism.

According to him, various types of activities carried out as well as the development carried out can provoke tourist visits and increase the income of citizens of Pariaman City.

In this activity there are also free wifi, culinary and souvenirs typical of Pariaman Nite Fest.

The Acting Head of the Tourism and Culture Office of Pariaman City, Alfian, said that this activity was held aimed at displaying art at Rumah Tabuik Subarang.

"The art performances are not only from art studios in Pariaman City but from neighboring regions can also contribute," he said.

With Pariaman Nite Fest, it can add a place of crowd and positive entertainment to fill the Saturday night at Pariaman.
