Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - Management of modern cooperatives can simplify and increase the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) class, said Ministry Expert Staff of Inter-Institutional Affairs Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Luhur Pradjarto.
"The presence of modern cooperative management such as the Iko Sero Cooperative in Payakumbuh is a positive thing and an improvisation in order to raise the class of MSMEs with more modern management," he said after visiting the Rendang IKM Central of Payakumbuh, Thursday.
The initiation of making rendang production centralized and becoming a rendang industry regulated by this cooperative can make it easier for people who already have rendang production.
"We know that rendang in Payakumbuh is produced by MSMEs here. So if there is a made the permits here," he said accompanied by the Assistant Deputy for Cooperative Management and SMEs Hanfiah.
With the existence of a cooperative that oversees MSMEs, this will make and ensure all rendang production results are in accordance with the standards set by the cooperative.
He mentioned there are several other cities that are currently developing modern cooperative patterns such in Payakumbuh.
I just reviewed the Iko Sero Cooperative in Payakumbuh. "There are indeed other districts / cities that are developing, this is what we call a joint production house," he said.
Related to the production of Rendang in Payakumbuh, he assesses that the Rendang IKM Payakumbuh center is ready to manage Rendang in large quantities.
Payakumbuh Deputy Mayor Erwin Yunaz said the visit was to ensure readiness, both from the Rendang IKM center and the Iko Sero Cooperative.
It is hoped that the Iko Sero Cooperative can become an offering from the City of Payakumbuh for the progress of managing modern cooperatives in Indonesia.
