Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - President Jokowi planned to visit South Pesisir District, West Sumatra in November 2018 to hand over the aid of fishermen's houses and abrasion victims, local Regent, Hendrajoni stated.
"Currently, the construction of houses for fishermen and abrasion victims is accelerated, as planned by President Jokowi who will directly hand them over," he said in Painan on Wednesday.
He added the house for fishermen and the abrasion victims amounted to 120 units spread across four sub-districts.
Special fisherman houses are located in District IV Jurai as many as 50 units, Batang Kapas 20 units and Koto XI Tarusan 25 units. While the special abrasion victims are in Linggo Sari Baganti as many as 25 units.
In addition to deliver housing aid, the president will also review the work of Padang-South Pesisir road passing through the Integrated Marine Tourism Area of Mandeh along approximately 42 kilometers.
"The road is scheduled for completion in 2019. Hopefully the president will spur the contractor to work more leverage," he added. (cha)
