S Pesisir Improves Island Tourism Patrols

Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of South Pesisir District, West Sumatra will increase patrols in some tourism islands in the area especially at night to prevent immoral acts by tourists.

"The marine tourism object is one of the mainstays of South Pesisir, besides presenting stunning scenery there are also exotic islands. To prevent immoral acts by our tourists, we will increase such patrols to the islands," Head of Police Unit of Civil Service and Fire Brigade of South Pesisir, Dailipal stated in Painan, Tuesday.

He mentioned the immoral act by tourists can damage the image of local tourism. In addition, it is also against the vision of region that seeks to create a religious life of society.

Patrols will be carried out with the involvement of sub-district government and nagari (traditional village) government so that it will be implemented maximally.

He invites the community to play an active role by providing accurate information to his side so that every patrol carried out will produce maximum results. (cha)
