Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - To ensure the readiness of Payakumbuh City, W Sumatra in rendang exports, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs together with the President Director of PT. Imza Rizky Jaya visited the rendang industry center in the area.
President Director of PT. Imza Rizky Jaya Rizayati in Payakumbuh, on Friday, said the readiness and management place of rendang in Payakumbuh was ready to enter the industry.
"I will fight for rendang produced from Payakumbuh MSMEs to be exported to many countries. Especially those who have declared cooperation, such as Saudi Arabia," he said.
He said his company had carried out export cooperation so that the opportunity to export rendang to the whole world was very open.
"The process that I saw, everything was in accordance with the standards and I am proud of what was done by Payakumbuh City Government," he said.
Deputy Mayor of Payakumbuh Erwin Yunaz said the export of rendang spices is a history for Indonesian MSMEs that can penetrate foreign markets.
He said on this visit the Ministry and the company to ensure readiness of Payakumbuh City's to realize cooperation.
"We will export in large quantities, so the ministry and the company want to ensure our readiness. The amount that we will export are 480 tons," he said.
In fact, in the near future deputy ministers will come to carry out direct checks. So that this cooperation can be realized in the near future, he added.
Staff of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Akmal Rusli said the arrival of expert staff of ministers and deputy assistants was scheduled on March 12.
"After that the minister will also come, with the agenda of the inauguration nationally," he said.
