Pariaman (ANTARA) - The Government of Pariaman, W Sumatra will apply admission tickets to a number of coastal tourism objects in the area to increase local revenue (PAD).

"The ticket costs around Rp. 3,000 per person and is paid non cash in the portal that will be built," said Head of Pariaman City's Financial Management and Revenue Agency, Buyung Lapau in Pariaman, Saturday.

He said ticket payments at the portal did not include parking fees.

He explained that with the application of the admission ticket for the beach tourism object, his party also provided a number of artistic performances.

"It is impossible for people to pay but only see the sea, so we provide performances on the beach," he said.

He said at least his party provided four portals to enter the beaches of Sunur, Kata, Cermin, Taman Anas Malik, and Gandoriah.

He said the regional regulation (Perda) related to admission ticket  for tourist attractions had long been passed but so far it had not been realized.

"So because the Regional Regulation already exists, we just need to implement it and we will socialize it to the community," he said.

Pariaman City's PAD realization in 2019 reached Rp33.6 billion or 80 percent of the target of Rp42 billion.

"The PAD originates from a number of sources, such as regional taxes, levies, Bank Nagari dividends, provincial revenue sharing from motor vehicle taxes and vehicle name transfers," said the Head of Pariaman City's Regional Financial Management and Revenue Bureau, Buyung Lapau in Pariaman.

He added that Pariaman City's PAD target for this year is Rp58 billion and to realize the target he will make a number of policies starting from raising the land value zone and the tourism sector.
