Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - The election for the 2019 Uda Uni, Tourism Ambassador will hold by the Government of Payakumbuh City, W Sumatra on Saturday July 27, 2019.

"The implementation of the Uda Uni is aimed to choose the tourism ambassadors who will promote the potential of Payakumbuh City," said Head of Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Payakumbuh city Erfriza Zaharman at Payakumbuh, on Wednesday.

To optimize the event, he will limit additional events that have nothing to do with the purpose of the activity.

He said reflecting on the experience of the previous year where the level of participant participation declined slightly.

"We appeal to Payakumbuh residents who are eligible to register at the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office ," he said.

It will aggressively conduct socialization both directly to the community and utilize the mass media and brochures that will be distributed to the sub-districts.

"Last year our participants were slightly reduced, and that affected our output," he said.

Requirements to be a participant in this year's Uda Uni election include Indonesian citizens, attractive appearance, at least high school graduates, aged 18-24 years, 170 (sons), 165 (daughters), domiciled at W Sumatra, unmarried, mastering Minang and Foreign Languages and made an active statement eradicating LGBT.

"Registration is open from July 2 to July 20," he said.
