Payakumbuh (ANTARA) - Starting on August 1, 2019, the Payakumbuh people who will take care of their passports do not need to go far to Agam Regency because the Agam Class II Immigration Office of Agam will open its representatives at the Public Service Mall/MPP that city.

"This is to make it easier for people who want to go abroad to take care of their passports so there is no need to go to Agam, just in Payakumbuh," said Head of the Agam Non TPI Class II Immigration Office, Dani Cahyadi, in Payakumbuh, on Wednesday.

The placement of representatives of the Non TPI Agam Class II Immigration Office on August 1 was in accordance with the schedule set by Payakumbuh Government in the MPP trial of Payakumbuh City located in the city hall building.

"In accordance with the last meeting some time ago MPP will begin testing on August 1, 2019 and was inaugurated on September 2 or 3," he said.

Dani said the Agam II Non-TPI Class Immigration Office covering the work area of three cities and five districts received an average passport application of 150 every day.

"From all of our working areas, MPP Payakumbuh is the first MPP that we occupied," said Dani.

Previously, he said, even though there was no MPP, his side sometimes also did a ball pick-up service by coming directly to Pasaman Regency and West Pasaman.

"We do it twice a week," he said.

So with the presence of MPP in the City of Payakumbuh, the communities around the area of Payakumbuh City and Limapuluh Kota Regency can submit a passport application in MPP Payakumbuh.

Meanwhile DPM-PTSP Head of Integrated Services Agus Tri Susatyo said there were 14 regional devices that would provide public services plus eight vertical agencies and a number of banking service counters.

"MPP integrates all types of public services in one service building. In MPP is all available, just move the counter to take care of different services," explained Agus.
