Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Carocok Beach in Painan, South Pesisir District, West Sumatra contributes Rp397,490,000 for local revenue from the sale of admission tickets to the site during Eid 2018.
"The number of admission tickets to Carocok Beach is much larger in comparing to the entrance fee to Mandeh which is only Rp128,145,000," Head of local Revenue Service, Desrianto Putra stated here on Monday.
Nevertheless, he said the total retribution of entrance ticket on both attractions has increased compared to the previous year.
The admission fees at both attractions during Eid holiday 2017 only amounted to Rp466 million while this year reached Rp525,635,000.
Head of Tourism, Youth and Sports of South Pesisir, Mawardi Roska said the number of visits to Carocok Beach Painan can not be separated from regional popularity.
In addition, Carocok Beach Painan also adjacent to capital district so that it is more easily accessible by tourists. (cha)
