Pariaman, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Pariaman Municipality, West Sumatra continues to socialize the national digital library or iPusnas to local community so people can borrow electronic books within network.
 
"This program has been launched since 2017. Currently there are 30,000 titles of books on iPusnas application," Head of Filing and Library of Pariaman, Nenmarni stated in Pariaman, Thursday.
 
She explained iPusnas is one of the central government program initiated by National Library of Indonesian Republic to reach communities throughout the country.
 
The program is an application that can be downloaded via android through Playstore by entering user name, phone number and e-mail, she pointed out.
 
She said that book lending can be done on a daily basis with a three-day loan period per book. If it is past three days, then the book will disappear by itself from the loan list and it needs to be reprocessed if people still want to read it.
 
She mentioned there are varied types of books in iPusnas including books about religious, skills, business economics, health and others.
 
In general, the book available on iPusnas is the full version including its title, author, publisher, year of publication, content and references.
 
Futhermore, she invite the entire community of Pariaman to start to use iPusnas application that provides ease in searching reference of reading wherever and whenever it is. (cha)
