Padang Pariaman Offers Three Rafting Packages

Parit Malintang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Padang Pariaman District, West Sumatra offers three rafting packages for tourists who are fond of special interest tours.

Each package has a long journey and excellence, but the same river used is Batang Anai, Head of Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Padang Pariaman John Kenedi stated in Parit Malintang, Thursday.

He explained for the first or short package is ranging from Balah Aie to Pasie Laweh with a length of 4.5 kilometers and two hours of travel time.

Then the second or medium package is ranging from Anduriang to Pasie Laweh with 11.2 kilometers long trajectory with travel time of three to four hours.

As for the third or far package is ranging from Guguak to Pasie Laweh with a track length of 15.8 kilometers and travel time of four to five hours.

"Each package is destined to depend on the experience and stamina of tourists," he said.

He pointed out that the first package is for beginners, while the next stage for the experienced.

While the fees charged ranging from Rp130 thousand per person for the first package, Rp250 thousand per person for two packages, and Rp350 thousand per person for the third package.

Besides, the facilities provided vary depending on the package offered, but it provides basic facilities in rafting, among which guides, equipment, insurance, snacks, local transportation, and documentation. (cha)
