South Pesisir Continues Carocok Beach Park Development

Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of South Pesisir District, West Sumatra, continues the park construction at the Carocok Beach Attraction Object of Painan to increase tourist attraction to the location.

"In 2017, the park has been built at the site and this year we will build it again to make the location be more beautiful," Secretary of Tourism, Youth and Sports Wendra Rofikto stated in Painan on Wednesday.

He pointed out a budget of Rp1.2 billion sourced from provincial special financial assistance as planned disbursed to support the implementation.

In addition, there are also budgetary posts in related regional apparatus organizations to support the development of the park.

He hopes with the construction of the park, it will make tourists more comfortable and certainly popularize the location.

Tourism object of Carocok Beach in Painan is a mainstay location in the fulfillment of Local Revenue Tourism sector in local area.

In 2017 it was recorded about Rp1.1 billion of retribution money obtained from tourist visits to Object of Carocok Beach, Painan.

Then, during the year it was also recorded about more than one million tourists both in and outside the country to visit the location who spend their time in Carocok Beach Park and around the parking lot. Next, there are to Mandeh, Langkisau Peak and other attractions.
