Padang Panjang (ANTARA) - the City Government of Padang Panjang received three awards at the same time in commemoration of National Children's Day.
The award was received directly by the Mayor of Padang Panjang Fadly Amran, BBA at Four Point By Sheraton Hotel, Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Wednesday.
The three awards were the City Worth Children of the Medium Category, the Best Child Forum Builder, and the Pioneer of Child Friendly Playroom which was handed over by the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia Yohana Yembise.
The Mayor greatly appreciated the acceptance of the award, he hoped that the OPD to increase the performance in the matter of child development.
"I want this program to be developed into a friendly city for all levels, not only children but also the elderly so that in the future Padang Panjang can grow as the best city of community service," he said.
While the Head of the Social Service Office PPKBP3A Martoni, S.Sos, M.Sc said that in the category of Padang Panjang City Worth Children they still won the category of Medium, hopefully in 2020 Padang Panjang could reach Nindya.
"We present these three awards for Padang Panjang children who have helped us realize this, Padang Panjang children are great, intelligent and noble, happy National Children's Day," Martoni said.
