Painan (ANTARA) - The government of Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra, will build two bridge units in an effort to support the development of tourism objects in the area.

The Regent of South Pesisir, Hendrajoni when visiting the tourist attraction on Sunday said "The two bridges will be built in the area of the tourist attraction of Carocok Painan Beach, which is one of the mainstay destinations of our region.".

As planned, he added, the bridge would be built through a budget from the central government in 2020.

The first bridge will connect Batu Kereta and Cingkuak Island, and the second bridge will connect Muara Painan and Batu Tembak.

It estimates that the construction of the two bridges will cost up to Rp16.5 billion, even though the budget is large but he believes the impact will also be very large for the progress of the local tourism world.

he said "Later all spots on Carocok Painan Beach will be integrated with each other, This thing of course  will make tourists free to enjoy its beauty," .

Currently to be able to get to Cingkuak Island from Batu Kereta, tourist  must use the services of a tourist boat by spending more or less 10 minutes. Because they must use the services of a tour boat, so not all tourists who dare to visit Cingkuak Island, especially those who cannot swim and various other reasons.

Though Cingkuak Island offers extraordinary beauty, in the location tourists can play white sand, swim while enjoying the beauty of small fish and coral reefs

Next, you can enjoy water games such as banana boats, speed boats, and other. Also  the locations more interesting with the Portuguese fortress ruins.
