Lubukbasung, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Cooperative Office of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Industry and Trade of Agam District, West Sumatra recorded the amount of cooperative assets in the area reached Rp428.16 billion in 2018 including movable and immovable assets.
"The assets are derived from 217 units of cooperatives which spread across 16 sub-districts in the area," Local Government Official, Aryati stated in Lubukbasung on Wednesday.
Currently, the number of active cooperatives are 217 units and cooperatives that have held annual meetings are 31 units which is held in between January to June 2018.
"Annual member meetings are conducted every week and now we have received invitations from five cooperatives" she pointed out.
Previously, cooperatives in the area amounted to 261 units, but 44 units were dissolved in 2017.
In general, the disbanded cooperative is an agricultural cooperative established in 1998-2000.
"The disbanded cooperative has no relationship with government or owes it to the state," she said.
The dissolution of cooperative is based on the Decree of Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Indonesia Republic Number: 65/Kep/M.KUKM.2VII/2017 on the Change of Ministerial Decree of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises No.114/KEP/M.KUKM.2/XII/2016 related to Dissolution of Cooperatives.
It is based on the proposal from Department of Cooperatives, MSME, Industry and Trade of Agam, after the cooperative is not active and does not hold annual member meetings.
"In this year, we proposed 61 units of cooperatives to be dissolved to related ministry, but only 47 units were dissolved," she stated.
Prior to the proposals, her side has done coaching to the cooperative and verify to the field.
However, the address of cooperative is not clear and the board is not found. "The cooperative address exists, but it was not found during field verification," she added. (cha)
