14,220 Hectares Forest Area for TORA Program in Sijunjung

Muaro, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Approximately from a total number of 14,220 hectares forest area for the program of Land Object Reforma Agrarian (TORA) in Sijunjung District, there are only 7,772 hectares which had been realized. The change is determined through Decree Number of Ministry of Forestry (LHK) in 2014 to 2016.

Currently, there are about 6.448 hectares which had not been realized reated to the the change in forest realise process for TORA.

It was revealed in socialization complement of land tenure whiting forest area through TORA program and the initial data of inventory and land ownership verification activities in forest area of Sijunjung District on Tuesday.

Assistant of Economy and Development of Sijunjung Regional Secretariat, Dr Edwin Suprayogi, opened a socialization activity in the hall of Public's Work Office and Spontial Planning Office (DPUPR).

The socialization held by apparatus of Sijunjung District DPUPR along with apparatus of Housing Office of Residential and Environment (DPKPLH), followed by 60 participants consisting of related stakeholders.

The opening was attended by several official of West Sumatra provincial government including Head of Forestry Office, Head of Regional Office of National Land Agency, Head of Public Works and Spontial Planning Office and Head of Living Environtmet. (cha/me)
