Pariaman, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Pariaman Municipality, West Sumatra, immediately implemented e-Warung (electronic stores) to facilitate the access to various forms of non-cash assistance from Ministry of Social Affairs.

"e-Warung is expected to be fully implemented in August 2018, and now there are still some things that need to be prepared," Secretary of Pariaman Social Service Satri Yarlina accompanied by Head of Social Empowerment and Handling of Poor, Elidawati stated in Pariaman, Wednesday.

She said e-Warung will facilitate the Beneficiary Family (KPM) to buy Nine Staples (Sembako) and spread across four sub-districts.

For East Pariaman Sub-district, it is located in Kampung Baru Village. Then in North Pariaman Sub-district especially in West Sikapak Village. In South Pariaman Sub-district it will exist in Sikabu Village and Central Pariaman Sub-district will be located in Baru Village.

Every e-Warung, she said, will be directly managed by KPM including Family Hope (PKH) as much as 70 percent and 30 percent of the recipients of Prosperous Family Card (KKS).

Pariaman is one of seven regions in the province appointed by Ministry of Social Affairs to be an e-Warung pilot project.

Seven areas that will implement e-Warung include Bukittinggi, Solok, Payakumbuh, Sawahlunto, Padang Panjang, Padang and Pariaman.

"Pariaman included in stage four for e-Warung launch in August 2018," she said.

The central government through Ministry of Social Affairs plans to add e-Warung where every village and urban village in Pariaman is strived to have it so it is not concentrated in one point only.

"It is only limited to the ministry's plan, if it is implemented it will facilitate the community in receiving various assistance," she added. (cha)
