Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Association of Indonesian Film Artists (Parfi) of West Sumatra continues to support the emergence of quality works including film which are done by local youth.
"We are optimistic that West Sumatra has many talents and filmmakers with the potential to create a film, through our organization it will be accommodated and supported," West Sumatra Parfi Chairman, Fadly Amran stated in Padang on Saturday.
This is done in the form of supporting during the process of works and promotions cultivation after the work of the film completed.
He explained his side also continued to embrace the production house as an important point of creative process.
At least currently Parfi of West Sumatra has worked on two films titled Cinta di Bawah Langit and 2891 Mdpl.
Both films worked on Minangkabau background, and played directly by the talents of West Sumatra through the casting process.
One of the film titled Cinta di Bawah Langit, has been finished and held its first premiere on theater cinema on Thursday (March 29) night.
The screening of two main characters, Febri Wahyuni and Rizky Perdana, were greeted by hundreds of people enthusiastically.
The film directed by Raymon Moza, carries a romantic story of a couple related to Minangkabau customs and culture. (cha)
