Pariaman, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Indonesia will budget Rp500 million to arrange street vendors selling around tourist attraction in Pariaman Municipality, West Sumatra. "The assistance by the central government is a structuring program for street hawkers especially in tourism areas," Head of the Industry and Trade Service, Small and Medium Enterprises Office (Perindagkop and UKM) of Pariaman, Gusniyetti Zaunit stated in Pariaman, Wednesday. He said the form of street vendors structuring is building a stall or a special place that is provided and expected to accommodate about 30 to 50 traders. Structuring the street vendors are done due to their places are not permitted by the City Government of Pariaman. The goal is that the traders can order neatly without disturbing the existing tourist attraction. "In addition, it is also done to create a looking neat area, clean and well ordered of traders that are also considered legal or official by local government," he explained.
