Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned electricity company PLN provided compensation free electricity because impact of COVID-19 to subsidized electricity users that can be accessed today, on Wednesday.
Based on monitoring by Antara in Jakarta, PLN's official website can be accessed to obtain the compensation claim.
The subsidy is given to customers in the 450 VA category and 900 VA subsidies (R1). For customers in the 450 VA category get full free compensation , while customers with 900 VA power get a discount of 50 percent.
Start in July 2020, customers who have been registered as recipients of subsidies can claim compensation in several ways.

The first way is to access the official website of PLN www.pln.co.id, then select the column Click Stimulus Covid-19 (free tokens / discounts).
After that the customer just needs to enter the customer ID number and follow the directions for the next column.
Secondly, customers can chat through the official PLN WhatsApp application at 08122-123-123. The first message is to send the PLN ID to the number. Then will get an official message automatically from the service and follow the next direction.
To find out whether it is a subsidy or not, it can be seen in the previous payment, if it is listed R1M code in the Tariff / power column of 900 VA it means it is not a subsidy and can not get a free token, except for R1 code.
