Painan, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of West Sumatra Province continues the road construction from North Bayang, South Pesisir District to Alahan Panjang, Solok District with Rp12 billion allocation in 2018.
"The road construction will be started from Alahan Panjang with processing target 2.7 kilometers," Head of Public Works Office of South Pesisir, Era Sukma Munaf said in Padang on Monday.
She said with the existence of road construction, so the total of long road becomes 18.1 kilometers while the total of whole long road is 49.4 kilometers.
If there is glanced since in the beginning of construction, so it has spent 44.276 billion allocation since road construction planned in 2013.
"We continue to pick allocation up for road construction, whether from province or the central government because it increases citizen economy," she remarked.
Beside that, with the completion of road construction, so that it can get the positive impact for tourism sector whether in South Pesisir or Solok.
"Solok is known as mountain tourism and South Pesisir is known as maritime tourism, both of them certainly will benefit with the road construction," she added.
The total allocation to built North Bayang to Alahan Panjang road is Rp477 billion which consists of road physic construction Rp432 billion and bridge construction Rp45 billion. (cha/el)
