Vice Mayor appreciates the minister of religion to help realize Islamic tourism in Pariaman

Pariaman (ANTARA) - Deputy Mayor of Pariaman, W Sumatra, Mardison Mahyuddin appreciated the local Ministry of Religion for helping to realize sharia tourism in the area.

"The Ministry of Religion not only realizes religious harmony and invites residents to worship diligently, but also realizes sharia tourism in Pariaman," he said after leading the 74th anniversary of the the Charity Day in Pariaman on Friday.

He said the contribution not only promoted tourism in Pariaman to the people but also invited residents to worship diligently both at the mosque and mushala.

If residents have a high religious life then not only make a positive impression on tourists but also avoid disaster.

"The Ministry of Religion is a government partner that acts in the interests of the people," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Pariaman City Ministry of Religion, Muhammad Nur, said the commemoration was the form of gratitude by his side, especially since the ministry was born not because of political interests but inner strength.

"Gratitude is a way to unite the nation and become a glue between religious communities," he said.

In fact, he continued, the Ministry of Religion must become a motivator for the modification of religious communities in Indonesia because this country has many religions, even in one religion it has many streams.

He said his side also helped realize tourism in the area by participating in socializing how to trade and serve tourists in sharia.

In fact, he said that tourist attractions must be a positive impression and should not be a place for male and female couples not to commit negative acts.
