Painan (ANTARA) - The beauty of the Mandeh Integrated Marine Tourism Area (KWBT), Pesisir Selatan Regency, W Sumatra will be enjoyed by residents of London, England in 2020 through photographs displayed on bus bodies in the city, said the local Regent, Hendrajoni.

"At least in June or July 2020 about 20 units of bus bodies in the City of London will be decorated with photographs that show the beauty of Mandeh," Hendrajoni said in Painan on Sunday.

He believes the activity will further increase Mandeh's popularity, especially to residents residing in London which is the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom.

According to him,The plan cannot be separated from the big role of the W Sumatra One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Office which succeeded in convincing international travel agents in the activity.

"We hope that these activities will not only attract foreign tourists to Mandeh but more than that is to attract investors to invest," he added.

According to him at this time the opportunity to invest in Mandeh is still wide open and his side continues to open up the broadest opportunities related to it.

Moreover, he said with the issuance of government regulations regarding the Mandeh SEZ, the certainty to invest in Mandeh is increasingly open.

With the involvement of the central official in completing the required documents, he believes that government regulations regarding the Mandeh SEZ will publish in 2020.

Mandeh area has calm waters, on the location there are several of beautiful white sandy islands that have their own beauty and uniqueness.

Even among the islands, namely Cubadak Island, which has been managed by Italian investors since 1993, these investors make foreign tourists as their market share.

In addition, there is also a world-class dive site, it is the wreck of the MV Boeloengan, which sank in Mandeh waters after being bombarded by Japanese troops in World War II around 1942. *
