Solok (ANTARA) - The Government of the City of Solok, W Sumatra provides training to artificial tour guides (Outbound Parks) to increase their capacity and understanding in managing these special tours.
"Tourism is one of the effective ways to unravel employment that is increasingly difficult now. "This special tour guide training will open new jobs for the younger generation," said Deputy Mayor of Solok Reinier after opened the training activity in Solok, on Tuesday.
He said the local government had committed to give attention to the drivers of tourism in the City of Solok. One of them is through training activities for artificial tour guides (outbound).
The presence of new vehicles in the form of outbound in the area will further add to the tourist attraction in Solok, and it is supported by reliable and quality guides.
After this training, it is hoped that new ideas will emerge that are more brilliant in developing tourism, and the obstacles faced so far can be overcome so that regional tourism develops.
Because increasingly skilled and skilled tour guides , it will provide satisfaction and comfort for tourists when visiting so that it also has an effect the economic development of the community.
He invites tourism actors to prepare existing tourist objects as comfortable as possible so that more tourists are interested. After that providing halal, hygienic and specific food in order to provide high selling points.
While the Head of Tourism Object Management, Solok Tourism Office, Indra Febrianto said the training provided lessons to improve the understanding, knowledge, skills and attitudes of tour guides.
The training was attended by 40 people consisting of managers of artificial tourist objects, managers or outbound operators, tourism conscious groups and Uda-Uni Solok City. (*)
