Tourist Boats in Singkarak "Harvest" when  Eid holidays

Solok (ANTARA) - Manager of tour boats to tour Lake Singkarak in Solok Regency, West Sumatra, get earnings during the Eid holiday.

"With the cost of Rp10 thousand, every passenger is invited to tour Lake Singkarak for about 15 minutes and during the Eid holiday we can usually produce up to Rp 20 million more," said one of the singkarak lake tourism boat operators, Riki, in Solok on Friday.

He said, when holiday, many people from various regions traveled to Singkarak lake but were the most crowded indeed during the Eid holiday.

For Eid holidays Eid al-Fitr 1440 hijri, tourists have begun to crowded since Thursday or one day after the implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers.

"These four days are usually the peak of visitors because on Monday most of the employees both private and corporate have started working," he said.

If not the Eid holiday, he said, visitors are usually not too crowded and only Saturday and Sunday.
