Painan (ANTARA) - The Government of Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra, will complement the tourist attraction area of Carocok Painan Beach with food court to support the development of the tourist attraction.

"In addition to the Integrated Marine Tourism Area of Mandeh, Carocok Painan Beach is also the main attraction of the South Coast, so various breakthroughs continue to be realized in the location including the construction of food courts," Pesisir Selatan Regent, Hendrajoni said in Painan, on Monday.

The location of the food court, he added, will be built permanently so that its existence is match with the beauty of the attractions of Carocok Painan Beach.

"Realizing this year is allocated a budget of IDR 2.2 billion, and is targeted to be completed before the end of the year," he said.

According to him, the existence of food court has become a necessity in Carocok Painan Beach because the destination is well known to foreign countries.

Moreover, not only on Eid Holidays, and weekend holidays every day also recorded local and outside tourists crowded the location.

He revealed many positive impacts obtained by the existence of food courtes by tourists, the community and also the district government.

"Locations are becoming more orderly because traders will be organized, price controls will be more freely carried out, cleanliness will be better maintained and the object of collection is clear," he said.

Nevertheless, he ensured that the food court will be filled by traders who have been selling for a long time around Carocok Painan Beach.

This is done so that they are more organized and have no social jealousy or being excluded so that the existence of the food court is truly felt thoroughly. (*)
