Simpang Empat, (Antaranews Sumbar) - City forest and animal park in West Pasaman District, West Sumatra is still crowded by visitors even though the days of national holiday and Eid 1439 Hijriah have passed.

"The level of visits is still crowded or it is on average of 100 to 200 people every day," city forest and animal park officer, Rizal noted here on Thursday.

According to him, visitors are still crowded because in addition to being in the center of the district, the attraction is also an alternative to recreation other than Bukittinggi Zoo.

He argued people are busy visiting the city forest and animal park due to the ticket fares which is affordable, but located in the residential area.

Besides, visitors can enjoy a number of game facilities and see animals including snakes, monkeys, rabbits, crocodiles, and various species of birds in that location.

One visitor, Dika (32) who came with his family said the recreation is not too far from the district capital or it is about seven kilometers from Simpang Empat in the direction of Padang Tujuah.

"We hope the facilities in this place will be improved later," he added. (cha)
