Pasia Tiku Beach is Visited by Many Domestic Tourists During Eid

Lubukbasung, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Pasia Tiku Beach Tourism Object in Tanjungmutiara Sub-district, Agam District, West Sumatra is visited by many domestic tourists during Eid al-Fitr 1439 Hijriah.

One food trader in the area, Ayang (48) in here on Monday said that there are about thousands of people visit the attraction every day during Eid holiday.

"Pasia Tiku Beach is starting to be visited by citizens one day after Eid," she said.

Based on the police number of visitors' vehicles, they came from Agam, Pasaman, Padang Pariaman and foreigners who came from outside West Sumatra such as Jambi, Riau, North Sumatra and Jakarta.

"It is estimated that the number of visits increased one day before the end of Eid holiday," she noted.

One of the visitors, Lizawati (41) stated that she deliberately took the children to Pasia Tiku Beach because the scenery is very good and the game is very varied.

Entrance fee is quite cheap at Rp7,500 per person, car parking at Rp5,000 per unit and motorcycle Rp2,000 per unit.

Separately, Head of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Agam, Muhammad Luthfi Ar added that local government formed a team to provide such help to visitors who carried by the wave.

The team consisting of Satgas BPBD, PMI, Satpol Air of Agam Police, Satpol PP and others patrols along the coastline. (cha)
