Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Thousands of tourists crowded Padang Beach, West Sumatra on Saturday (June 16) or D+1 of Eid al-Fitr, among others, they aims to witness the splendor of the sky at sunset.
Journalist of Antara, on Saturday evening reported that tourists spill over on the beach starting from the front of LP Muara Padang area to Muaro Lasak Purus Park.
Head of Tourism Office of Padang, Medi Iswandi estimated the number of visitors of Padang Beach on Eid holiday can reach five thousand people.
Due to the crowded of visitors, parking location is not able to accommodate vehicles so partially visitors parked their vehicles on the right and left of the road.
From such observations on the location, almost most of the car of visitors who parked had police numbers from outside of West Sumatra such as Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Bogor and Bandung.
Besides, in the landmark that reads Padang Municipality, tourists look fun to take some pictures and enjoy the sea view.
While along the coast of Lake Cimpago, tourists relax while enjoying a variety of culinary such as roasted corn, pensi and satay.
Children are also busy swimming in the beach and some are playing kites.
Head of Tourism Office of Padang, Medi mentioned that if all visitors that exist in beaches ranging from Bungus Beach, Air Manis Beach, Padang Beach to Pasir Jambak are calculating, so that the number of visitors is estimated to reach 50 thousand visitors. (cha)
