BI Provides Rp4.45 Billion To Serve Money Changers of Solok Comunity

Solok, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Bank Indonesia (BI) of West Sumatra provides Rp4.45 billion especially nominal denominations of Rp2,000 to Rp20,000 to serve the community money changers of Solok Municipality in welcoming Eid al-Fitr.

"This is the last day of the new money exchange service and we will serve the community until the capital brought out is exchanged by community," Head of West Sumatra BI, Endy Dwi Cahyono through Rupiah cash processing fund, Ardiwandi stated in here on Sunday.

Besides, it is performed a new currency exchange operations in the area Payakumbuh at the same day. Earlier, it had conducted onsite in Pariaman and Bukittinggi on June 2, 2018.

"In addition, we have also opened a new brokerage exchange service through our existing banking system. Today we are targeting to underserve communities," he said.

He mentioned that on the last day of the exchange of money, there is no nominal limit of money changers that are in reasonable level.

He revealed that Bank Indonesia is preparing Rp3.8 trillion in new denomination money to fulfill the needs of people of West Sumatra this year due to sharing new money has become a culture during Eid in the area. (cha)
