W Sumatra Municipalities, Districts To Prepare Tourist Destinations Ahead of Eid

Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - West Sumatra Provincial Government urges municipalities and districts to prepare tourist destinations in their respective areas to welcome the travelers and tourists in Eid 2018.

"Comfort, security and prices must be well arranged so that tourists get a good impression during they are in West Sumatra," Head of West Sumatra Tourism Office Oni Yulfian said in here on Wednesday (June 6).

He said it was related to Eid Lebaran which started Monday (June 11) to Wednesday (June 20) and it always followed by the increasing number of tourist visits.

According to him, almost all tourist destinations in 19 municipalities and districts in West Sumatra have great potential for tourists to visit.

Good service and convenience will be added value for the destination to be more visited.

"From now on, tourist destination must be hygiene that everything related is ready such as security, parking and culinary prices," he pointed out.

Despite the last few years, the case of culinary price deception is no longer happening in West Sumatra, but he reminded that the condition was maintained.

Meanwhile related to the role of community in tourism, they need to participate in trying to provide comfort to tourists.

In general, West Sumatra has hundreds and even thousands of tourist destinations ranging from the level of nagari (traditional village) to which has been known internationally such as Istano Pagaruyung, the Most Beautiful Village in Pariangan, Mandeh Area, Sianok Gorge, Anai Valley, Harau and many others.
