Payakumbuh Guaranteed Convenience of Investment Permits

Payakumbuh, (Antaranews Sumbar) - The Government of Payakumbuh Municipality, West Sumatra guaranteed the process of obtaining permits for investment in the area will be easy and fast.

Deputy Mayor of Payakumbuh, Erwin Yunas when contacted in Payakumbuh, Friday, said that it is an attempt to attract capital owners to invest in the area through the ease of licensing attempts are given.

"The municipal government should be able to attract as many investors as possible so that new jobs will be created, as the new economic benefits, the investment will affect the improvement of people's welfare," he explained.

This is in line with the vision of Payakumbuh Government which has instructed the relevant Regional Device Organization (OPD) in order to do not complicate the licensing process.

In general, he mentioned many business opportunities worth developing in Payakumbuh such as culinary, trade, tourism and hospitality.

Previously, Governor of West Sumatra, Irwan Prayitno ordered time permit investment in the area is trimmed to under one week for investors interested to come.

"Permits that are convoluted have an effect on investors' willingness to invest, so they need to cut down the unnecessary bureaucracy and simplify the process," he remarked.

According to him, the permit is only one sheet and the time of handling a matter of days. (cha)
