Padang, (Antaranews Sumbar) - Head of Tourism and Cultural Agency of Padang Municipality, West Sumatra, Medi Iswandi said the supervision made by people around the tourism object can be one of the strengthening factors of the sector.
"It does not only the tourism conscious group or the people around the object, but also the visitors to participate in monitoring the actions of unscrupulous persons," he said in Padang on Tuesday.
In this case, the public participate to report violations incidents in the tourism objects.
This report can be done directly to related agency in charging to supervision such as at Cimpago Beach and Muaro Lasak Beach.
"As in Air Manih, the public can also monitor the action to raise ticket or parking rates," he said.
The supervision needs to be done especially during holidays that often escape from the attention.
In addition, the local government and community need to concern on the comfortable and security of tourists' travel to increase the number of tourists visits.
If the number of tourists visits continue to increase, the regional revenue will also get the good impact so that the development of other facilities, such as games arena, or construction of pedestrian continuously assisted. (cha)
