In each of gas stations, there will be special channels for non-cash transactions which will make it easier for people to buy fuel at Pertamina gas stations.
In the success of the program, his side will continue to socialize so that the program can be felt by West Sumatra people.
"We synergize to support government programs in Non-Cash National Movement. We will socialize it to change the culture of society in transacting," he said.
He hopes PBCS program will make the transaction at Pertamina gas station safer and its recording will be more accountable.
He targeted 50 percent of transactions at Pertamina gas stations will switch to non-cash by using a banking card this year.
Pertamina and BRI hope that PBCS will be the preferred payment instrument of society's choice as it will provide practical solution in purchasing BBM. (cha)
