Carocok Mandeh Market to Boost S Pesisir Tourism Sector

"Carocok Mandeh Market is located not far from Carocok Tarusan Port, so that, the tourists are easy to shop, before or after sailing in Mandeh waters," Head of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprise, Trade and Industry Office, Azral stated in Painan. Beside rely on the strategic market location, his side also arranges the market area maximally starting from preparing the parking area to building the gardens. Moreover, his side also has told the plan to build tourism special port for sailing to Mandeh waters, exactly behind the market. "If we use Carocok Tarusan Port for long time, of course it is not good because that port earmarked for fisherman and we have told related officials about port construction plan that placed behind the market," he explained. According to him, if the plan has realizaed, of course there are the significant impacts in buying-selling transaction in market, and definitely the tourists will feel comfortable. After inaugurated in Carocok Mandeh Market, it will sell the various regional product such as Tanah Liek Batik, Sulam Bayangan, and Lumpo Batik.
